This policy explains what information Taggsy collects, how we use it, who we share it with and how you can have it deleted. Taggsy is operated by Taggsy LLC, 1718 Capitol Ave, Cheyenne, Wyoming 82001-4528 ("Taggsy", "we", "us").

Who this policy covers
- Customers: business owners and their team members who sign up for Taggsy.
- Visitors: people who browse taggsy.ai.
- Your customers: people who click a tracked link or call button in a post Taggsy publishes for you.
Information we collect
Your account and billing details
When you sign up we collect your name, email address, phone number and billing address. Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
Your business profile
During setup you tell us about your business: its name, description, location, services, opening hours, brand style, offers and any notes you leave for upcoming posts. You can also upload logos, photos and videos. We use all of this to write and design your posts.
Facebook and Instagram
When you connect Facebook, you choose which Facebook Pages and Instagram business accounts Taggsy can use. We receive and store:
- your Facebook user ID, name and profile picture
- an access token that lets Taggsy publish for you, and the date it expires
- the ID, username and profile picture of the connected Instagram business account
- the ID and link of each post Taggsy publishes for you
- the number of likes, reactions, comments and shares on those posts
We read the name and ID of your Pages when we publish a post, so the post goes to the right place.
We do not collect your private messages, the text of comments, your followers, your personal Facebook posts or any advertising data.
We use this information only to publish the posts you approve (or that you have set to publish automatically) and to show you how those posts performed.
Other connected accounts
- LinkedIn and X (Twitter): an access token, your account ID and name, the IDs of posts we publish, engagement counts, and for direct messages, the sender's name, the number of messages and a short preview, so we can count leads in your report.
- Google Drive: access to the folder you pick for Taggsy. We save the images we create there and read the photos and videos you add to it.
- Reviews: public reviews of your business from Google, Yelp and Trustpilot, which you can choose to feature in posts.
Your customers' clicks and calls
When someone taps a tracked booking link or call button in one of your posts, we record the time, the post it came from and a shortened, scrambled (hashed) version of their IP address. We use this to count leads in your report and to filter out duplicates and bots. We cannot identify the person from this record.
Website visits
taggsy.ai uses Google Ads conversion tags to measure how many visitors start checkout and sign up. These tags use cookies. You can block them in your browser settings.
How we use your information
- to write, design, schedule and publish your social media posts
- to show your reports, including leads and estimated return on investment
- to run your subscription and send receipts and account emails
- to answer support requests
- to keep the service secure and working
We do not sell your information, and we do not use information from Facebook or Instagram for advertising.
Artificial intelligence
Taggsy uses AI services to write your posts and create images. To do this, we send them your business profile, your notes and draft posts. We may also send engagement counts for your past posts, so they can predict which posts will do well. These providers process the information to send a result back to us. We do not send your Facebook or Instagram access tokens, and we do not use your Facebook or Instagram information to train AI models.
Who we share information with
We share information only with the companies that help us run Taggsy, and only what each one needs:

We also send your posts to Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and X when we publish them for you. We may share information if the law requires it.
How long we keep information
- Connected accounts: we keep the access token while the account is connected. When you disconnect Facebook in Taggsy, we delete the Facebook and Instagram tokens and tell Facebook to remove Taggsy's access.
- Your account: we keep your information while your account is open. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete your data within 30 days.
- What we keep after deletion: Stripe keeps billing records for as long as tax law requires. We also keep a note of your email address and the date your account was deleted, so the account cannot be restored by mistake.
Deleting your data
You can remove Taggsy's access and delete your data at any time. The steps are on our data deletion page: https://taggsy.ai/data-deletion
In short:
- In Taggsy, go to Settings, then Connections, and click Facebook to disconnect it.
- In Facebook, go to Settings and privacy, Settings, then Business integrations (or Apps and websites), and remove Taggsy.
- To delete your whole Taggsy account, email support@taggsy.ai from the email address on your account.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your information, ask us to correct it or ask us to delete it. Email support@taggsy.ai and we will reply within 30 days.
Security
Your information is stored on servers run by our providers listed above. Access tokens are kept in a part of our database that the Taggsy app itself cannot read from your browser. Connections are encrypted.
Children
Taggsy is a service for businesses. It is not meant for anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. If the change is significant, we will email you.
